Why I care

From the time I was three years old I have spent 3-8 weeks each summer with my bother and my mom working at a special needs orphanage located in a small province just outside of Tian Jing China. Over the past 14 years I have gotten the amazing opportunity to teach and play with these kids. I have spent over 5,000 hours with the children and can not beginning to express how intelligent and kind they are. I am trilled to share my experience and organisation with everyone!

My initiative for this company came when I realised that when I left the orphanage at the end of each summer, I could not stop thinking of the children. Even though I am very far away from them during the school year, I wanted to feel connected to them and help them even when I could not be close to them.

I created this company to accomplish three goals. The first goal, is to use the money from the cards to assist families in adoption fees to makes sure that lack of money money is never a reason a child does not have a loving home. The second goal is to use the money from the cards to planning the futures of the children who are not adopted. By Chinese law, once a child turns 14 years old, they can no longer be adopted. Many smart and capable children are never place with a family so it is important to think about their futures. The final goal, is to train the kids to one day take this business into their own hands. That way, they will finally have something to call their own.

I have provided pictures and stories throughout my web-site to display what kinds of kids you would be supporting. I have also included information about my other efforts to support the children. If you have any questions or would simply like to get to know Foxnotes or the orphanage better, please do not hesitate to ask me via email. The company's email is foxnotespapers@gmail.com. I am always more than happy to speak to anyone about my experience and the amazing work that the Prince of Peace Children’s Home has done and allowed me to do. My time with these children have shaped me into who I am today and I will forever be indebted to them in that way.

The products are designed with great quality but most of all with a tremendous amount of love.

Warmly, Rae Fox.
